I have an 06 22ve, thinking about upgrading to a newer boat 2014-2017. We ski and slalom and pull the occasional tube. No surfers in the family yet. Any suggestions on a model similar in size to our current and has a wake that we can still slalom behind?

Since the market has made such a shift to wake surfing, might be hard to find any slalom input. I think most any boat in the size/weight class is going to all have a similar rec level slalom wake.

A Z1 will be close in size. Friends of ours have s 22ve and it’s very similar sized to our old r20, a little bit bigger.
For skiing the r20, z1 and rzx2 will probably be your best option, but in order to get the Wake flat you really have to get going rather fast and have minimal weight.Comment
