Any idea what the updated bracket cost?

I am reading that for the time being I am better off without the VX extension since it is at the wrong angle?

I did a host of tests with and without the Vx on my boat. I also did a lot of tests with various weight distributions and with various surf enhancement devices. I was attempting to build an automated system that worked WITH the Vx still attached. I'll skip to the end and give you the result: Run the Vx, at the proper angle, and get some massive rear bags in each corner. Attach a suck gate to the opposite side you surf on and attach it to the black part on the rear of the boat. You will have a wave that will rival any TAPS3 boat. You may need a 1235 propeller to move it.

It took me a couple years to learn all that. I'm still a believer in the Vx and I think that it works even better without the list than it does with a list. I have a host of videos on my Youtube Page that you can watch. This is the first one:

Travism bought a set once and said the brackets were around $600. That may or not be the same anymore. Another option is to try and find a Vx that someone else no longer wants. A lot of guys are removing their Vx and going with a TAPS3 or a Go Surf Assist. That is also an option for you too I suppose. Just buy the Vx from them and take the brackets off.

I personally feel the Vx, when done right, can be the best wave you'll ever see out of the Z boat.

anyone come across some brackets for sale? or maybe someone has a VX they might be selling? or maybe someone had some fabricated???
