    22ve wind block

    Hey everyone

I'm brand new to the Tige family, just picked up a 2009 22ve and can't wait for summer...
Any suggestions on where I might find a windscreen/block?
It must have had one when it was new as it has the guides that it slides down into.

dealer, but quite frankly, go to a plastic supplier with your dimensions and thickness and get a piece of tinted acrylic. I would bet it'll be 1/3 the cost. the winddam I had for the 22ve was just a piece of acrylic that slid in and had a bend at the top to lay against the windshield
    2012 22ve.. RIP 4/17

You could fabricate your own very affordable out of HDPE. It’s available online in all kinds of shapes, sizes, and colors.

You can find all kinds of HDPE at Interstate Plastics....online. I have bought from them 2 times. Great service, they will cut to size and ship it to you fast. They would cut a rectangle size....you would probably want to get it made an inch or so large and then cut the taper to size yourself.

I know a guy that used get complete wind dam kits made specifically for Tige boats. Smoke polycarbonate with handle cut out. Might have even included a "Tige" sticker on it. Search the site here and you might find his old thread with the worksheet explaining how to do the measurements. Yours might need to be a bit different through, as your factory guides in place. Just note, any pricing is likely outdated.

I can take pictures of the windscreen from my 22ve if you want to copy it. Its pretty straight forward, but the very top of it has an angle that matches the angle of the windshield, which is kind of nice.

Is there a cost difference in smoke vs. clear?

If so how much shipped to 47060 if I use your form to measure?

                  Thank you
