    Tige problems!!!!

Well I have been @ times a proud owner of having a Tige for the past year & 4 mths. I know that some things will go wrong with your boat every now & the, but if it is not one thing it is another with my boat. Either my dealer fixes one thing then when I get it back there is something new that goes wrong with it. I finally had a good stretch of 3mths of everything working right. Then my steering gets hard to turn, I was fed up with the excuses and the drive to my dealer, so I took it to one closer to me. They said that they would not screw me over, but when I went to pick up my boat I get a bill $859. Now my taps is not working and they said that I would have to bring it back to see what is wrong, but they think it is somekind of board that has gone bad, it runs about $250d plus labor. I told and complained to my dealer for over a year that my taps was sticking and acting up, but once again they did not find anything wrong with it. By the way I bought my boat in 05 it was a demo with hardly any hours, it is a 24v. Ihave been thing about selling it and buy a BU or an R2. Do'nt get me wrong I enjoyed it those 3 trouble mths of everthing working fine. I had all my maintainance done by the both dealers. Just wondering if it was just my boat? Now I am taking my boat to abilene to get my taps fix and other things that never were fixed & to determine if they are or were under Warranty, probably not the way everthing else has gone, and I get SCREWED again!!!!!!!!!

Its the 3 "F"'s rule. It it flies, floats, or <insert explicitive> you are better off renting.

Seriously, I doubt you will have much more luck with another brand. Boats are hand assembled, and have bugs. The difference is in the dealer. Maybe contact Tige' directly and ask for dealer recommendations? Other than that, good luck.

westtx I will do everything i can to assist you with your boat issues. Sometimes purchasing a boat from a dealer several hrs away from you can make things very hard to get repaired. I promise you that I will not take advantage of you and if i can get the boat repaired at minimal or no cost to you I will do that. I do my best to keep every customer happy. Look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

Well I went to Abilene 9-5 and met with Andrew, dropped off my boat @ around 5pm. He was very nice and answered any questions we had. I recieved a call around lunch on 9-6 saying that my boat was ready. I was expecting them to keep it at last 1 week or longer, but they didn't they got it in & out, fixing the things that they could. It is great to have some one like Andrew & Harvey when your dealers do not step up. Thanks again Andrew & Harvey. Freddy
