    Why the sweat?

2000 20ci, MO Ozarks. Nice day in the garage and bottom is all wet. Why? M&MW6M_3746.jpg

I'm no expert but gel coat, as far as I know, is porous. So in theory that would be water finding its way out through the pores. If I had to guess. How long has the boat been in the garage??

Did you have a big temp change in the garage? AS it it got warm quick? For that to happen the garage would have to be warm and the hull would have to be very cold.

If that isn't scientifically what was happening the free could be right and you have water seeping inside to out.

It was a very nice day. Warm air cold concrete. Windows were open. I drained the boat when I stored it in Nov. Rear plug out bow high.

That does not mean you don't have water in the boat. Older tow boats have a habit of getting water in places they shouldn't under the floor. Then the older foam absorbed water and holds it. Talk to someone who has ever removed a floor, you find lots of fun stuff under there. Always water in places it doesn't want to drain from.

Hopefully you just have a condensation issue, warm air cold hull.
