Edit, just realized it's a drysuit.
Yeah for the price you can’t go wrong. I bought it locally but it was pretty much the same price.

I surf or wake without a wetsuit in water temps down to 60 but it’s definitely brisk in the mornings under 65. Below 50 I find that it’s tough to match days with warm enough air temps to make it enjoyable. I prefer the air temps to be above 65-70.
I may pick up a dry suit to extend the season past October this year. It sure is nice riding in a sweat shirt/pants under a dry suit, peeling it off and having everything still nice and dry after!

I go back and forth on the drysuit. It's is the bomb for sure. One thing I find with the dry suit is that what is perfect for me is too tight or too loose for someone else. That is to say, they come in half strangled or with a gallon of water in the suit. Fur me it's perfect though.

I've been wetsuit only for past couple of seasons and actually prefer it. I have a black neoprene Jet pilot jacket I wear over the suit when I'm back in the boat. It acts as a heat sink and keeps it from evaporating and getting cold. Cannot stress the importance of a liner, taped seams and water intrusion folds along the zippers.

In early spring/late fall it has to be a 60+ degree day, sunny and no wind.

          Coldest water temperature

This past weekend. 62 water in a shorty 2.5 mm was a -touch- nippy. I actually tossed a heater top over it and was perfect. 80 degree air.

And I am a pretty thick skinned northerner.

The shorty alone was tolerable, the jacket topped it off. My full 4/3 was great but a bit much. Plus I hate wrestling with it.

The SOCAL ninny muffins were all booties and whatnot. 🤣🤣[emoji7][emoji7]

62 degree water sounds like July where I boat. I think this may be very dependant on where you live and play. I definately would be a whole lot more comfortable in a suit at that temp, but I just cant get myself to wear one in July. The first couple runs suck, and then I get over it.

By the way, I am so jelous of all you guys with your pictures launching your boats. I, meanwhile, shoveled 6" of snow in 16 degree weather from my driveway yesterday morning so my wife could get the van out and take the kids to school. I miss living in Charlotte real bad this time of the year! (Although if we got 6" we would have no way of getting bread or milk)

My question is will a 3mm suit be enough for me when the water is in the low 50s? I dont need to be toasty, just prefer not to get sick. If not does anyone know of a place that sells fat and tall thick wetsuits? Also, what is recommended for the wife and kids in the low 50s? They have a lot more options, since size is not a limiting factor, and care about being cold a lot more than me.

I think you are right on with this. We have water temps in the 90s in August - so caparitively, below 60* water is tough for us. 65* water here now and we are in wetsuits for sure...

Water is only cold while you’re in it.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

Yup wave is insane. Got a few kinks to work out with some codes, hopefully just o2 sensors.

Might have a friend give us a hand. Dealer said it was simple. If that doesn’t solve the problem off to the shop.

Just be sure to take a close look and see if you have water on the sensor or down in the exhaust manifold. You should be able to peek in there and see or stick a rag in there on the end of a long seal pick or screwdriver and see if it comes out wet. If it comes out wet the next step isn't a painful repair.

Great wave! We run the goofy side too. How did you have the boat set up to make this wave?
