    FAE Group Buy 2018

For those not on the Tige Owners facebook group (first of all, bad on you), there is a group buy for FAE going on right now. Use code tige18spring. It is $50 off and going to $75 once it hits 6 people. I think it is already at 5. Ends March 11.

Easy there Johnnie . Maybe I'm the only one here, but some people don't use social media. None of it. This forum is as close as I will get.
Somebody posted the group buy in Classifieds as well. May be worth linking to this thread so everyone's on the same page, literally. Most forums moderator would combine posts, but I've never seen one here.

And I thought I was the only one that felt this way. I mean do people really care how (un)successful their high school classmates are?

Can anybody tell me how much the FAE sticks out past the TAPS plate when mounted on a 22Ve? I am going to have to remove my swim platform to get the boat in my garage and not sure if it’ll fit if the FAE sticks out much further past the TAPS plate

Also... kind off topic but I requested to join the Tigé Owners fb Group but haven’t been accepted yet. How do I get in?

They should have a quick release option available for you.

Just a heads up, for those 2017 RZX owners like me, the only direct buy option from FAE is the 2016 welded exhaust manifold. If you want the mandrel drawn (smooth continuous pipe - no angular welds) your only option is to purchase the 2018 OEM model direct from Tige through your local sales/service organization (ie no group buy discount plus additional dealer mark ups).

Functionally there is no difference between welded or mandrel drawn. If aesthetics are important and you like smooth pipe then you have to go through Tige.

Also if you are one of the few RZX owners with the 460 engine, then you, too, have special considerations if wanting a FAE.

I dont think the newer FAE even connect to the platform or its brackets. Even then, I think the tip of the down pipe is likely 6-8 past the TAPS plate.

I have an '06 22ve. I have to remove the swim platform to get the boat in my garage as well. I went with the mount that attaches to the hinge of the taps plate. It is solid as a rock and makes it easy to take the swim platform off and on. I actually trimmed the stainless tubing down an inch to bring the FAE closer to my taps plate.

First picture is before the trim, second picture is after the trim.
