Don't forget the rzx3 is like 4" taller than the rzx2.

trailer also plays a big part.... If its got big wheels and tires you are going to be creeping on the 9 foot mark with an Rzx3

Eh...if it ever becomes an issue I might have to "settle" for an RZX2 then

I put a tape on an RZX3 yesterday with a boatmate trailer. Outside to outside of the guide poles with pads is 111”. The fenders/wheels (18” wheels) were right on 102”. The rear steps were a little over 96” across. I didn’t get a height measurement. My 6 year old son also thought it important to measure the tongue which came in at about 4 inches wide. So at least that should fit with no problems.

Awesome thanks man! I measured the 3rd bay across and I'm not sure there is enough room for a 10 ft wide door so that leaves me with either 9 ft wide and removing the guide posts which isn't too bad or ordering a custom width garage door at 9.5' which leaves me with 1.5" of clearance on either side lol...

Now i just have to find a guy in the Dayton, Oh area that can do the work. I have guys that can do the concrete, framing, etc but I can't find a decent GC in the area....

Because you have 3 bays what about getting a double wide door and covering two spaces? You can it a standard one at 18’ wide. If support is a problem you could probably put a beam down the middle as you would have the boat and something else off to each side.

It's a 3 car attached. It is a double door on one side and then a single door for the other. All three bays are open on the inside. The boat already "fits" in the garage but I have to take off the swim platform, take off the racks, take off the bimini, angle her in, etc. The entrance to the house is also on the double wide side so if I don't angle the boat in, you are squeezing around the rear of the boat or if my wife parks her car on the 3rd bay side, she is squeezing around the boat with 3 kids under 5 in tow.....

With this addition I'll fold the tower, back her in, raise the tower and be done. Plus we plan on pouring some additional concrete on the back and continue the roof line to make a second patio area that faces roughly 28 open acres.

Here is a 2018 RZX3 on Boatmate Tandem with 18" wheels. It will fit under 9' door.

I went and measured the R21 trailers we have and I get the same numbers as UNSTUCK.

Sorry for the post resurrection but wanted to post some pics. We ended up going with a 10ft wide by 9 ft tall door so hopefully that should accommodate all but the biggest wake barges out there. The garage was extended 11 ft back for a total interior length of 30ft. We will have a 5 ft covered patio area on the back.... I have two fan boxes being installed over the boat so I can open everything up and blow air down to dry the boat out. Can't wait for it to be done!

                        BurnMac42,
Why do not our paths cross? What lake do you go too? You live in Fairborn, correct?
I am happy to see you are doing your homework for a tall enough garage for a future boat! Who would have thought we would ever need a 9 foot tall door for a boat with tower folded?

I was asking Tige the same questions you are asking to see if a new boat would fit in my 3rd car stall. Tige told me the height for a 2019 ZX1 would be 8' 2" tall.

Great pictures. You are doing it right!
