    Question on RZX3 or 2 Width/height

Hey guys the wife just signed off on us expanding our 3rd bay garage to accommodate the boat. Currently I have a 2017 R21 however at some point I might upgrade that to an RZX or whatever the equivalent is at the time. With that in mind, would an RZX on a boatmate trailer fit into a garage door that is 9 feet wide by 8-8.5 ft tall?

For the width is 9ft wide enough to not have to remove the trailer guides? My boat is in storage an hour away right now or I would measure the trailer guides myslef

I'm sure someone in sales like Jason could give you better numbers. Rzx3 is a 102" beam(8.5 ft) and obviously your guide poles are wider than that. They are super easy to remove, 9/16" wrench and a quick pin and they are out.
I'd be more concerned that the step behind the fender is even a hair wider than the guide poles, but I've never dropped a plumb Bob of the pole to see if the are flush with outside of step.
Other concern is I think 8-8.5 ft header is too short. We still have only been selling rzx3 so cant speak to a rzx2, but these boats are super tall on the trailer. I would guess that even with a 9 ft header you'd be tight. One things for sure, if you do go to an RZX I wouldn't be optioning 18" wheels onto my trailer, and I would make sure I was getting torsion and not leafs(believe that's standard for boatmate built for Tige, but boatmate uses leafs on other trailers).
With the torsion you can cheat and lower the trailer a bit.
IF you don't get any solid numbers or anecdotal evidence I can gladly bust out the tape and do some measuring on Monday at the shop.

Good info...I thought I read on another thread that the new towers allow the RZX (maybe it was only the RZX2) to fit under an 8' door.....dang...I don't think my HOA will sign off on a 9 ft tall door lol....

Man, it's going to be close on all sides. Probably the only way to know for sure is to try it.

I've been wrong before and will be again. Elevatedconcepts will most likely have a more concise answer, or maybe somebe else that garage stores and rzx 2 or 3. Don't give up quite yet. Worst case you can move to a z3.

I looked into this a while back and if I’m right it’ll be super super close for 9ft door.

              9’ door or bigger
My slip is 10’ tall and 9’10” wide and it’s a one shot straight back every time it’s tight on the sides but I do it all the time

Dang so now I'm wondering if 9 ft wide is even going ot be enough for my R21...

The r21 has pretty much the exact same beam, the only part that might save you is narrower trailer steps or fenders

We just unloaded two r21 trailers yesterday, boats havenr shipped yet. So can easily pull tape and give you exact width on Monday.

My 2015 RZR fits perfectly fine through a 9 ft door width. I have to drop the tower for height, but width-wise it fits easier than my Mastercraft Prostar 205 did

It will be 8'6" wide so 9' door will work, but will be tight as guide posts stick out a little bit.. RZX is just over 8' in height with tower down. Here is a 2018 RZX2 on trailer (18" wheels) with tower down.

If you take board racks off, it will fit under 8'.

^ Awesome man I really appreciate it! I'll see if I can stretch the height of the door to 8'6"...the HOA isn't going to notice/care about 6"......
