I have to throw my compliments in as well...the boat looks great!!! Nice job on your detailing work... Now...I am bringing our boat home for the season from Havasu this weekend...can you stop by with your polisher say, next week sometime????
Originally posted by Andrew Boat looks great and you did one hell of a job getting it to look like that. If your ever near Abilene give me a call and stop by.
The invite goes to everyone, that comes to Abilene stop in and say hi. I'll show you around the factory.

I'll do that if I'm ever in the area! BTW, do you know off hand if the rubber Tige' pads over the transom vents are still available? They're vibrating like crazy and you can't tighten 'em as they're screwed to the glass, then the rubber was applied over (not to mention they're worn out). The only dealer in my region is kinda baffled as they've only been a dealer for three years and i doubt they've even seen a Tige' this old!

Hey Razz, I am getting ready to buff my boats gelcoat out as you and spharis have. I bought the same polisher. I am going to use the Meguiars Diamond cut, swirl remover and flagship polish like you did. Wondering how much of each do I need? Also where can I get the pads for the polisher and how many? Sorry for the 20 q's but this all new to me and I am going to give it a shot. Just want to be prepared. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, do420jc
Go to home depot, they have bonnets made by Mikita that will fit 4-7" buffers for about $5 bucks if i remember right. Buy a 2-3 of 'em and remember to wash them out after each session with a mild dish soap and water, rinsing well and let them air dry overnight.
The Diamond cut comes in a quart size, the swirl remover and flagship come in a slightly smaller bottle. One of each is more than sufficient and don't let the bonnet dry out as SP said when using.
Don't worry about questions, that what's this is all about.
