Liquid Lumens may be the Brightest, but to me I can't get over the fugly big bubble look they have! I want a flatter cleaner look on the back of my boat.
Reason I personally would take less lumens or brightness, and go with the Seablaze x or spectrum to have it look like its part of the boat and not its own zip code on the back of the boat!

Liquid Lumens has released an RGB. I have no experience with it, so I wont speak for it or against. So please no one that likes LL, take my forthcoming comments personal
With that said. There are a couple solid RGB options out there. There are a couple others out there, but they lake quality or other features steer me away in some cases.
Abyss underwater LEDs. Mid level price but poor quality internals. Poor customer service from the company. Lastly, they run on 24V so they require their RGB controller. No way to sync then with your interior/tower LEDs. Now, this may not be a consideration with all buyers, but it is with some.
Bluefin. Entry level all the way.
Ocean LEDs offers a couple different RGB LEDS, but I do not have intimate knowledge of them yet.
SeaBlaze offers a handful of RGB models, the X Spectrum, Zambezi Mini Spectrum, X Mini Spectrum, Quattro. 3 of these are new, so I have not seen them. Knowing the quality of the SeaBlaze-X, these are worth looking at based on their price and output. All are 12V ready and can be used with run with most any RGB controller. This means they can be sync'd with your other RGB LEDs.
ShadowCatser has the existing SCM10-CC and then the new round SCR-24. Now, they do also have the SCY-40 CC, but its their yacht series and runs $1900 and has a 7" OD. The ShadowCasters are also 12V ready so they can be driven by a common controller thats driving the rest of your interior/tower RGB lights.
Like with any other single color, we have to ignore advertised lumens when comparing between brands. Comparing different models within one brand, yes, lumens is valid.
Price typically gets you more output. Look at build features like housing and lens materials, does it have thermal protection for when the light it out of the water, etc. How much light you want and how much do you want to budget. How do want the lights to work. Find the light best fits all that.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Ok, I need to make a correction.
Based on previous info, I though the Seablaze spectrum lights were a typical 4-wire RGB. After digging deeper, I have found that that all are a 2-wire hook, meaning it requires only a positive and negative. The color changing is done vie an integrated controller through what Lumitec calls "TTP" or Timed Toggle Protocol. A momentary off of the switch, changes the lights mode.
So we are back to the Shadow Caster as being the only Quality 4-wire RGB that I know of, that can be wired to an external RGB controller and linked to your interior/tower LEDs.
Sorry for any confusion.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
