Yeah...I'm not sure why Tige didn't just include a few buttons next to the clear. They are pretty handy on TT2. Still not a big fan of everything on one screen though.
Out of curiousity, will the boat operate if you disconnect the screen?
anyone know if steering wheel controls are possible with the tige touch screen (i.e. the ones on the '17 and earlier Z and the brand new Rs?)

Edit, Mike beat me to the punch
As far as I know it's only compatible with Clear 10" not the older 7" aka TT2 that you are thinking of. I think it could MAYBE be possible but not sure if the harness/plug for the 7" would even work. Even if it could work from a hardware standpoint, there isn't a software patch that would recognize it.
Seems like Tige is doing a great job of developing lines of boats without just starting another company and calling it a different name ie Malibu is to Axis as Supra is to Moomba(yes I know moomba has been around for a long time)...
So now that we have R series in 20, 21, and 23 ft lengths they have to keep some stuff on their top end. Wouldn't be suprised to see smart wheel on R series be available down the road, but it will be after the RZX line has moved onto something even better for wheel/helm controls.
I don't know how they would badge it, but I'm surprised they aren't doing an R series for RZ2 and RZ4 hulls. They know how many they build a year so I'm sure there is a reason.
