did not think you were, just showing that the name exist.

Besides some 3rd party sites listing...... any info from Indmar and Tige have disappeared.

Indmar and Tige should have a standard and thats it. Taking away technology that helps and has been around for decades seems counter-intuitive.

      Bury it in the price

Maybe this makes since in the R Series. For the RZ series boat this should not be a option.

Truly dis heartening to know they would do this in the RZ Series.

Because there is not alot of info out there, Indmar has removed the link to the Fusion engine on their Site since this summer.

What would have been the 2k upgraded option. Raptor was not available in 2014.

Did they still call it the fusion engine? What did the Package include? ....besides Knock Sensors...lol

      TIA
The marine world is not like the automotive world. Many brands didnt use knock sensors until recently because of emissions. They are not the same in the marine world.

I just checked my build sheet and the motor listed in my 2014 is Indmar M57 350HP. Like the others who have commented before, this is the first I've heard of the Fusion Engine.

Mine has knock sensors attached to the block drain on the bottom of each side of the motor.

The M57 is what Tige labeled it as, but from doing some searching, it should be similar to the Malibu Monsoon 5.7, as that is what they branded it under.

Is the boat new to you, could the previous owner removed them for some unknown reason if so?

The R20 should have been the only one to get that engine as a base. Sounds to me like the RZR was special ordered with it instead of the normal 5.7. Kind of like the old 5.0l, you could special order it as a downgraded engine on the smaller boats.

If you want, message me the hull ID number and I will find out what engine it was built with from the factory.
          Oh Yeah!

Agree....but I had a 2003 MC 197 with Indmar 5.7 MCX- had them, 2011 MC 197 with Indmar 5.7 MCX - had them. Just assumed that 2014 RZR with the same engine from Indmar would have them. Im very familiar with the Indmar 5.7 GM, I have done alot of work on my previous, the Indmar Fusion M57 is nearly identical. The only different is the intake manifold compared to the MCX and Indmar changed the thermostat housing because of a know EXTcats overheating issue, they sold a kit to re-route the water flow to solve the prob.

Did the same for my 14 Z1, but not nearly as long as you, I bought at the end of the summer in 2015. Do you still qualify for the Tige 360 maintenance program?

                Here's a picture of mine.

Probably not, I purchased through SkipperBud's and they are still a current dealer. Let me know if you need any manuals or anything, should be similar.

Definitly not.... Thanks for the info and help!

Just to put it out there...............This whole thread is not to complain in any way, i just like info and understand my machine.

All in all, love the boat and very happy with the engine, Im not a rose color glasses person, super critical of my own stuff, the engine has been very powerful and have not felt like its lacking by any means.

2014 RZR came standard with the 335 hp. Trust me I worked for the dealer then and had a RZR with the base 335. The M57 was an upgrade until the Z1. R20 and RZR got the 335 as standard. Ours had plenty of power in the 20 footer. We thought it was a great improvement over the PCM 303 hp in our 2013.

FYI your picture is mislabeled. The M57 (MC MCX) orange motor is the 355hp motor. The one with that label is the 335 with the Air Cleaner on top. And they did call it a Fusion.

Im with you on this.......The picture is from Boatest.....yes it is wrong( i did not label it, its a snip out of their video). I tried to clarify that in the post below but can see how it may be interpreted wrong.

I was trying to clarify the confusion on the M57 vs the Fusion 57......will edit to fix so it make more sense.......thoughts to typing dont always translate ....lol.

Your RZR came with the Fusion 335hp for sure. Not a downgrade, it was standard for the base RZR and R20.
                              Oh Yeah!
