Made it to Mojave last weekend; weather was PERFECT and didn't have to fight the masses for good water. The plan is to make one more trip before Christmas and then it's Elsinore AM 'till Spring.
If we get some good powder in Mammoth, we'll squeeze a trip or two up North to snowboard.

We need to hook up this weekend. I will be driving out on thursday night.
Its going to be crowded with the 3 day rockfest and the jet ski world finals.
Good thing we stay on the south end of the lake. Most likely going out in the afternoons as the mornings have been staying cool.
PM me and we will make plans

With the season change, it's harder to get out to the River...Friday night through Sunday just doesn't hold as much appeal when it's a 4 plus hour drive... This is our last weekend coming up so we will be bringing home all the toys from Havasu for the winter...such as we have winter here in So Cal.
We will likely go out to Elsinore once a month during the winter with the wet suits and heater blaring...and this is the time of year that we go to the beach and get a little surfing or bodyboarding in...no crowds, no problems...it's the best time of year for the beach in SoCal.
Other than that, school is back in for our kids so that's the big focus at the wrangler house... Keep the grades up...get a wakeboarding scholarship to ASU or someplace amazing... That would be nice to have somebody else pay for my kids to go to school and wakeboard when they hit college... A guy's got to dream right???!!!

FWIW, I don't Snowboard, only ski. Keeps those knees in shape!

me and my freinds were out of school yesterday, so we headed out to utah lake. air was 77 water 60.3. it was some of the best water ive ridden all year. it was nice no wet suits, just put on a sweater after each run.
if the air stays warm for a bit longer we'll go out a few times after school.

Going to Havasu the Columbus day weekend as my wife and kids both have school. Not a holiday in California.
Guys weekend, A little quading, shooting and boarding. Got the golf clubs out and hit a bucket of balls. Have not played in a while.
Bought a new desert toy last weekend. I will post pics next week after I try it out.
This might be the last boat trip of the year
But the other activities will keep me busy. Still need to install the Fresh Air Exhaust and IPOD in the boat.

There are more than I thought. Probably 40-50 along the Wasatch Front (the Salt Lake Area) I am looking for a 6 wheeler that won't require much mechanical work. I love to spend time accessorizing, but the other sruff is just work, and I like to avoid that as much as possible.

Are there a lot in your area??? I know there is a huge swiss/german military importer in Arkansas. He usually has pinzgauers for less than 10k readily available. I know one of the guys that wheels with us also imports a couple a year and sells them off.
