Made it to Mojave last weekend; weather was PERFECT and didn't have to fight the masses for good water. The plan is to make one more trip before Christmas and then it's Elsinore AM 'till Spring.

If we get some good powder in Mammoth, we'll squeeze a trip or two up North to snowboard.

Went out last Friday , Saturday and Sunday. Water was 75 and air was between 80 and 85. I am usually the only driver and my total time boarding this year has been about ten minutes. Changed last weekend. It was my friend, his son and me. I boarded more on those 3 days than I have for the last 5 years combined. Also used the Inland Surfer I bought a few months ago.

I learned some new boarding tricks this trip. I actually cross the wake without face planting . Its amazing what you can do when you get the time. Got up on the Surfboard and got into the wave. Could not freeride but it will come in time.

Saw Wrangler and his family sightseeing on Saturday.

My friend is welcome anytime, paid for gas, dinners and his son cleaned the house as we gave the boat a thorough cleaning.

Quads will have to wait a few more weekends.

Hopefully I will be going out again Sunday.
          Let it be!!!

And I got to see XP Jim and his posse!!! We had a great weekend even though it was the clean-up trip. Lunched in California Cove after which the kids did a little rock jumping...then some boarding in the afternoon... A great weekend to be sure!

Hey it's nice when the guests actually pitch in and help with the clean up and gas!!! You can loan them to my boat anytime!!!

                  Thanks Tequila!

I am actually going to try and take a wakeboard set today and then pull the boat off the water for the year. I have some buddies that board year around up here in Seattle area so I just ride with them and put the TIge in hibernation.........

51° today and I can't even think of being on the Tige.

Cold snap has me shivering. Can't wait till it gets really cold

Supposed to be 71 today, but I pulled to boat from the dock Wednesday. I just don't have the get up and go to put it back in for a quick set......so the kids and I are going to go ride dirt bikes this afternoon instead.......wife has to work...LOL.......

Our last day at Lake Powell got rained out, we came home early and my son insisted on going one last time. Air Temperature about 51F, water- probably about the same.

After reading all the posts, nobody mentioned what happens to the desert boarders of Arizona when the weather cools to below 60 degrees and the water temp fianlly is less than 70 degrees. Its time to head to the sands of the Imperial Valley Recreation Area (Glamis and Buttercup). Second only to wakeboarding is carving up a virgin sand dune with an high performance ATV or sandrail.
It is just as orgasmic as Roosevelt Lake at 6:30 AM Saturday morning when you are the only boat and boarder on a rippleless lake. Dune season for us usually starts on Halloween and ends in April. What else would you do during the desert winter months when the air temp gets down to 45 degrees at night???

My dad always said "Stupid Hurts". He's yet to be proven wrong, but for some reason I keep trying.
