I think when I did the math on helping my FIL out it came out to around 70 bucks a hole to do coil and plug and that was buying MSD coils and not the cheapest plug option. Can't remember what I bought but they are a platinum tipped plug(OEM spec plug).Eventually the problem will present itself fully and you will get a misfire code that will be 301-306 that will direct you to the exact offender, but the ECM has to see a bunch of misfire before it will light the CEL at dash.
Unless I'm wrong. Been wrong before and will be wrong again. In this case I'd bet a round of drinks that coil and plugs fix it.Last edited by freeheel4life; 01-17-2018, 06:22 AM.
