I'm another fan of the new 18 Expeditions as well. Wife currently has a 2010 Flex which we love but with 3 boys at some point it's going to start getting too small and the Expedition is a high consideration as a replacement at some point. I have a 2014 EB F150 and it pulls my boat without issue. These newer gassers can do a damn good job at towing. They may eat more fuel when doing so but a would be over kill the rest of the time. The only thing I ever complain about is my stopping power and an electric over hydraulic upgrade to my trailer would solve that issue. My neighbor is a diesel performance mechanic and he even says for what I do and my driving habits for work and such a diesel wouldn't really be a good option for me.
I don’t think the Ford 6.0 as an example is fond of short trips or also of long idles—diesel fella here actually said basically same thing. Gas is the more practical choice for me too, but diesels are still super cool.

Beautiful unit! Some Katskinz and paint and a lift and wheels and tires and side steps and a stereo and some bumpers and a new grill and you’re in BIZ!

What’s the ecoboost doing? I thought they were torture tested to the moon and back?

Still running strong has a hesitation problem and it’s a timing thing dealership says 3 to 4 thousand to replace components to correct but the dealership says if hesitation doesn’t bug you keep on driving it. Doesn’t do it all the time.

Does it only stumble or hesitate when you are giving it a bunch of throttle?? Like say merging into the interstate, passing, or climbing hills??

2013 F150 like I said though it’s a work truck and it’s been worked. I have had it since 35000 miles. It’s real slight and not all the time it’s like a stumble
