Well, cold weather kind of snuck up me. We were still surfing until about 4 weeks ago (not me, my 19 y/o and his friends--they have circulation). Had intended to have the boat winterized but just got too busy. The boat is kept in an insulated shop with semi-heat, does not get below freezing but we are having some extremely cold (by our standards) weather the next few days--highs in the mid 20's, low in the teens. Yesterday I drained the crossover tube between the manifolds and the rear drain of the V-drive transmission. I know I need to drain the heat exchanger and the tube below the impeller. Problem is: How in the Hell do you get to them? I can see the drain below the impeller but would need 4 foot long arms to reach it! Can't even see the drain at the bottom of the heat exchanger. Thanks for any tips!

If yours is the same as mine.... If you lay in the starboard compartment with your head towards the rear of the boat you can reach the drain for the heat exchanger. I wiggle my head and left shoulder/arm into the hatch door in the compartment - then its pretty easy to get to...Last edited by jslayde1; 12-31-2017, 09:42 PM.
