What scheme did you go C? any photos yet?

I'm so torn on getting this..I know everyone says its absolutely incredible however I freaking LOVE the deep grumble of our V8s.....lol

Burn what year boat do you have? I know D and P has a 14Z1 and his had a really awesome and nasty sounding grumble. Everything post 15 has seemed to have much less of that lately with all the emissions stuff I think. If I had one with a nasty growl I think it might be a harder decision thats for sure.

I don't have much experience without the FAE exhaust, I installed it shortly after getting my boat.
I am sold on it just for the noise reduction. I like quiet.
I wonder on the newer engines with all the emission controls, if everything is working properly they don't emit much of anything for stink?

2017 R21 w/ the 400......It's not loud but it's still nice and deep vs my 2000 21v I had previously...think the FAE won't affect it much then?

If you add FAE to your Boat inquire about removing the muffler and going with straight pipe. The oem one gets rid of the muffler which is more restrictive than the Fae. It should also be quieter without the muffler because it will not resonate in the engine compartment (at least that’s what I have heard).

While everything I have always heard is that its just steam, from my experience that steam smells pretty horrible. Enough so to give me a headache which sounds a whole lot like Carbon Monoxide side effects.

^^100%!!! I got (what I think is) CO sick sitting on back of a 2017 RZX2 last summer. And my buddy’s kid got it too.

I thought it was just steam also, but it had more of a punch than that.

So from the factory do they remove the muffler? I’m having them add the factory surf pipe onto a 2016 at the factory, just curious.
