Last year I winterized my boat(2008 Tige RZ4), but unfortunately I did not use it this year. The only thing I had done was maintenance and a check back in July. It never saw water, do I still need to winterize? I live in central Texas.

if the engine was run, it needs protecting again, even though the boat wont get a complete winterizing. if there is room, id maybe add some fresh fuel to it and some more layup treatment.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

It generally doesn't get too cold and when we had snow it didn't stay below freezing very long. Generally freezing days are preceded by 70/80 degree weather. So while it may have gotten to 31 degrees by the afternoon it was in the 50's/60's. I'll schedule an appointment and get it winterized this week. We are expecting some cooler weather this weekend .

Takes 30 minutes to drain the system. We would ride year round and I would do it right there on the ramp after pulling the boat out of the water.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

^This! Take a look into the how to section. There’s a good write up on winterizing your setup on there. The Marine Power engine is stupid easy to drain as are the other steps to winterizing. Save yourself $3-400 doing it yourself in a half hour, hour tops, plus it’s empowering knowing you can take care of your own stuff!
