    Source for upholstery? (2013 Z3)

    Hi all -

This summer, while lowering the tower to get into the garage, one of the board racks made its way into the rear portside armrest (tearing the fabric). Thankfully, it's the end of the season, so we have plenty of time to get it repaired.

The fabric is grey and feels almost like denim (see pic). I've spoken with a couple of upholsterers who can easily fix the issue, but none of them think they have a close enough match for this fabric and they're asking me to call Tige for a few yards.

My question is... is this something Tige would work with me directly on, or do I need to go through a dealer? Anyone have any of this fabric lying around that they'd sell? My nearest dealer is a bit slow on requests like this, so if I do need to go through a dealer, can someone point me to a good one in the midwest?

    Many thanks!

I am not sure if Tige will sell you just the material. What they will sell you is the skin for the cushion in question. You should be able to call them directly or handle it thru your dealer. It won't be cheaper direct if that's what you are thinking.

get in touch directly with tige. They keep fabric seat cutouts & fabric for 7 years after they change them, per the factory tour i took.

Call the parts department or email customerservice@tige.com.

I got a skin for my observer seat. 2013 boat. Cost was $175 CAD I think. Half of that was the shipping. You can just get your shop to staple on the new skin and you're off to the races.
