To the winners... Couple of updates.

    1. All of your BABz were dropped off tonight. Check your email for tracking info. You should see them moving tomorrow. All the USA guys should have these in 2-3 days as they're traveling via priority mail.

    2. Crazy enough, 2 of the 5 winners were Canadian! You guys should see yours in about 3-5 days. Maybe you guys can give us some cold weather testing!

    3. I was originally going to send you each 2 BABz. But, after going back and looking at my original post, I thought there might be some confusion as I refer to giving away 5 "sets". I consider a set as 4. So you are each getting 4 to cover all sides of your boats.

Thanks again! I look forward to hearing your thoughts. As always I'll be here answering questions as well.

Uh oh. Looks like 2 of my 5 messages didn't go through on here. I just resent you the tracking info on here. These went out earlier this week.

Got my BABz today and can’t wait for warmer weather so they can be put to the test. Thanks again and I’ll post a review here in a few months after I get to use them a bit.

              How do you do shipping?

The competing balls are $17 for a pair. It would seem that is a lot, given they are not super heavy or large when deflated.
              Be excellent to one another.

I just ordered 4. With the promo code and 9.99 shipping it came to $90. Seemed pretty good to me.
                Let it be!!!

FYI, it was $9.99 to ship just 2 balls also. I am looking forward to receiving them! Thanks for the holiday discount!

Shipping prices on products online is a bit of a pet peeve of mine. A lot of companies like us shipping "costs" to hike of their prices. I do a ton of shipping for another business of mine. So I feel like I have a pretty good grasp on shipping prices. I'm not trying to throw anyone under the bus. But $17 is pretty ridiculous. I use medium flat rate and regional flat rate USPS boxes. Unless its going to one of the coasts, the regional boxes are almost always cheaper. But in general the shipping cost is between $8-$13. If you're just ordering one ball, I can get it in a flat rate envelope for about $6. But 2-4 balls is the same cost. So I just charge a flat rate of $9.99 for 2+ balls. If its going out of the country, UPS is sometimes cheaper. For example, one of the Canada shipments was around $40 via USPS and $50 via UPS. The other Canada shipment was just the opposite. So it just depends. That being said, a lot of companies just use UPS accounts and never try to find the best rate.

If any of you are doing any shipping this holiday season, I invite you to check out the regional USPS boxes. They are an absolute shipping deal.

Got mine, nicely packed, individually wrapped.

Plastic is thick, though not too thick, inflates easily.

My first thought though -- can you sell, or do you have a source, for spare plugs? I know I'll lose one at some point...

And for the first test, I know this is probably a gross misuse, but my six year old saw and immediately did the following for the better part of an hour with no apparent damage or wear

                            Hopefully this video link works...

In my Navy days, the proper response to that video would have been "Test SAT".

This is hilarious. I have a 2 year old niece and she wants to do the exact same thing every time she sees one. I have to keep an eye out though. She's so small she will rocket off the ball if I'm not there to provide fall support. I'll also say this, some of my "scientific testing" consisted of me doing the same thing. I'm a little bigger than the kiddos at 200lbs. So they can definitely handle it!

As far as the plugs go, I too am terrible about losing things. I will have a ton of replacement plugs here in about a month. When they come in I will send you guys some back ups.
