Just wanted to update this thread. The drawing is over. But I'm offering a discount code for Tige Owners. Just enter "tigelove18" at checkout to receive 15%. This coupon is good for the first 25 orders who use the code. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Hey everyone. I realize its the middle of December and most people aren’t doing a lot of boating. But I’m too excited to not show you a new product I’ve been working on.
These came to be from me just not liking any of the options out there for fenders. They were either too hard, scuffing my white and black hull, too small, not durable enough, didn't last, warped, etc. I know there are companies already out there offering this ball style. But after trying out several different kinds over the years and not being happy, I decided to make some better ones of my own. I’ve been testing the prototypes out myself all summer and I love them. I felt like every time I was on the lake someone would ask me about them. After many months the first batch have arrived here in Austin.
I’ve dubbed them BABz (Big *** Ballz). When I set out to make these, there were a few things I knew they needed that I hadn't seen in other products. I wanted these to be made to last and tough enough to take the punishment of a dock or larger boat. These are made with a thick but soft plastic blend that, after much trial and error, I feel works perfectly. These also won’t warp over time like I’ve seen others do. The handle itself is reenforced with a a harder, thicker plastic. The ability to blow these up to a large size is also something I really wanted. The thickness of the ball itself allows for different sizes of inflation for different situations. These will inflate all the way up to around 24 inches if needed. The larger size allows you to put these at the water level when tied up at the cove and not have to worry about hanging them at just the right height. It also allows you to adjust how far away you’d like your neighbors and their board racks to be.
I should have the website (bigassballz.com) up and running in the next few days. There I’ll have many more photos and videos along with some more organized descriptions and specs. But I thought I would give everyone on Tige Owners a first look.
I’d also like to send some sets of these out absolutely free of charge. If you’d like a set of these, just comment below. In a few days I will draw 5 members randomly and send them out. All I ask is you tell me what you think about them!
I will be shutting down the drawing Sunday night and have the winners shipped out asap.
