The guys on the Malibu crew will NEVER admit another brand is better... no matter what it takes.

Has anyone gotten custom sacs made for an rzx? It just seems like 500 in the lockers is nothing.

Or should I be the first one to try?

Arent that all custom in order to plug up to the PnP plumbing? I dont know of anyone that plugged up a W712 Enzo or a W707 original fat sac.

The next question is, whats the magic number? Do we need a large rectangle, or an L with a short leg or a full length leg?

Ok custom may not be right word. Custom as in built to spec larger than normal.

It just seems strange to me that a Z3 people are making these massive bags and yet rzx just has 550.

I feel like the only brand with a big surf boat and large rear bags is centurion.

This implies the RZX boats are supplied by Tige with a 550 lbs sac, is that the case? Other wise, that 550 is a custom, just not your custom, or Tom **** or Harry's custom, but somebody's.

Why are there not customs that are larger you might ask? Because the majority of the talk is to go with those same 550's and then a ton of led to make up the difference.

As to the large sacs in the Z3, up until the release of the Surf-XL sacs in the 15 or 16, they had a only 600 lbs in each locker. The Surf XL replaced the tank and sac with one large factory L sac in the 1000 lb range. Even then, we did upgrade a few of those to gain a few hundred more pounds.

I’m pretty sure Tige doesn’t provide the bags. That’s why I’m asking if there’s anything better we should get.

The rzx hull does not keep getting better as the weight increases. Look at the deadrise, its really easy to figure out. Flatter rear running surface and the wave will eventually start to fold over..... They run great with 550s.....

You seem to be forgetting that under the floor are 1100 lbs bags as well.

                          And then 800 more midship.

The Rzx line doesnt need lead in the rear.... It needs 300 in the bow thats it if running PNP.

The deeper the V, the better then effect the boat will have with weight usually.. not always.

2 things you are forgetting... the Rzx being significantly heavier out of the box, and the big bags already subloor on an rzx.
