This is all at surf speed by the way. Empty, cruising, wakeboard speed, both boats are bone dry. I will also say that I have been in 2s that were bone dry for what thats worth. The 3 I am in now when cutting chop a certain angle can kick some water over the bow. Its all about how its loaded and how the hull is traveling through the water. Rzx2 stock ballast, 20% bow weight no PNP for example surfs prob as good as it does loaded with extra weight and is dry. Trying to explain why that is and how that matters. The best explanation I can give you is that the Keel is cutting water at a crazy angle...... and the water that is being split at the keel is also being split forward. Add chop and some wind and that water that is going forward is now going out and up. Throw in some rollers and the water is going up and over. Load the nose and bring it closer to that deflection and the more chance for water you have.
Again, I have only noticed it when really weighting it down, which we have realized the boat doesent even run better doing. Correct stock ratio and its both dry and big. Those are my .02 for what its worth.Germaine Marine

I can take a supra load it at surf speed and get it wet too. Those are the facts.
We don’t get wet in 575’s boat very often. It just “rains” in tiny little bursts a lot. We actually do joke about it, but it’s not that bad.

560s with 1k of lead under the subfloor is pretty nasty IMO.Germaine Marine

I actually think smaller the bettter. 400-560 max. As much as people dont want to, the lead effect is better the rest of the way and the weight I think needs to be lower then up above the sub floor, boat tends to rock and the weight effect is different.

Might not be doable based on boat hoist capacity rating of 7000#.....need to thoroughly vet that. Snapped cables are a bummer!

They make a nice, nice boat. Not sexy enough for me yet as a whole, im a stickler for looks. The SL looks killer the SE is not for me in the slightest. Give me a 25 foot SL and watch out. They just need to rework the console and some other things that I think are a disaster. But they are rolling toward the front full steam ahead.Germaine Marine

Haven't seen an SE I like for looks, but it does perform. They have the funky bubble out in the rub rail starting at about windshield that eventually tapers out. It just doesn't jive well with the lines from the windshield back to transom. They all have more of a rounded, bubble type feel from the rub rail up over the more angular feel of the z and rzx lines in the deck. Especially from windshield forward. They all seem to end up boxy at the transom now that storage wars have pushed everything subfloor.
The Clear touch screen definitely beats out the Supra. Love switch redundancy and Autowake is pretty sweet. Not stoked about double reversibles....Last edited by freeheel4life; 12-12-2017, 06:15 AM.

FUSSY FUSSY FUSSY!
They all look “different,” not “bad” or “good.” For instance, people comment on how gorgeous my SE is all the time. Personally, I like traditional bows. We all have our opinions that’s for sure.
But here is the indisputable truth: Tige’s best looking boat is the Z3. 🤯
