Bow upholstery

I put 200 hours on my RZR last season. Boat is still in great condition, but I worry about upholstery holding up in the long run. Particularly the bow seating, additional ballast bags and a lot of activity is bound to eventually take its toll. I know access to the bow ballast is through the consoles, can the fasteners for the bow upholstery be reached via the same access. I thought I might purchase a skin now while they are still available and just hang onto it until needed. The price is reasonable. I already purchased the engine hatch last summer. I’m not worried about the steps, I’m sure they will be available for a long time.

I know this post is pretty old but I was wondering where you purchased your skin from, I bought my used RZR from Texas and brought it up to Michigan, the Texas sun and heat over the years took its toll on some of the seams and panels. I would like to freshen up the interior if i can purchase the skins, I'm on an inland lake near Kalamazoo, MI.

As far as getting skins, you should be able to order them from Tige. If you go that route I'd order them sooner than later as sometimes they take a while to show up. Once they arraive I would plan on doing the work at the end of the season. Also, have your HIN when you contact Tige

I'm about a half hour south of Kalamazoo. I bought the skin from a dealer, it was about $490.00. you may want to consider some other skins also, if one is bad others may not be far behind and the price per cushion may be cheaper. I will probably buy the lower three seat cushions this fall. They are not bad yet, but I don't want to wait until they are obsolete. I also have the instructions from Tige on how to remove the bow cushion.

What do the instructions say to do? Hoping there is an easier way!

This is the response from Tige:

The two bow cushions should just pull out. The nose cushion will come out last. You can access the side panels from the observer storage and bow storage areas. You take the last nuts out from the speaker openings. Then you can access the nuts for the bow nose panel.

The ballast bags have a box that covers the backs of the bags and the rest of the ballast bag is under the bow cushions.
