    tower welds cracking!

i have an 03 21 i and ive had a problem with two welds cracking. they crack at the same joint that the allen screws you take out in order to fold the tower are located. ive had both of them welded one of them twice, but they have both cracked again since the begining of the seaon. if anyone has had this problem let me know how you have fixed it and kept it fixed. i tighten all of the bolts after every time we go out to keep things as solid as can be, but some how they were able to crack around the entire weld. let me know i appreciate it.

What type of tower is it?
Usually tower weld cracks happen when the weld is a surface weld only and the person welding didn't make good penetration. The tower joint being a solid material versus the tubing requires a lot more heat for the weld to penetrate.

Do you pull tubers off of your tower?

        What tower do you have?
        Be excellent to one another.

we have pulled tubers off of it before but dont anymore. im not sure what model of tower it is. there is a wake designs sticker on it but i think thats just who makes the board racks. if you look in the photo galleris and in addictions gallery, the tower on his boat is similer to mine.

it seems like they have cracked when were in bad chop and the tower is flexing a bit. the two welds are on the rear joints with the bolt just to clarify.
