    Colorado is still open

    Wow....Monday was incredible.

It amazes me how fun the Z3 is to slalom with 1-2 people in it. Also love short line wakeboarding. So fun to go wake to wake at slow-er speeds (18 mph). Might get one more day....or just pack it in and start hitting Copper Mtn.

      HA!
We took the Grady out fishing at the beach this weekend and it was frigid, crazy that it's 80 degrees in Colorado!
      Jealous.

I have a hard time believing that your lake is still 62 degrees! Here in Southern Utah, where the lakes never freeze, we are already less than that. I am going to try to get out another time or two until thanksgiving. Then the dirt bike comes out. Nothing better than the desert in the winter for motorcycles!
        Be excellent to one another.

Looked at my pic from last year on 14 November and the air was 75 and the water was 64.8. Also, dead calm until well into afternoon.

It's all downhill from here but man it was nice to poach that on Monday.

Is that Pueblo Bakes? I didn’t realize it stayed above 60 this long. Looks like you guys had the lake to yourselves

Yeah...Pueblo is heavenly all of October and then for a week or two in Nov. Did not see a single wake boat entire day. Just a couple of fishing boats.

Water started mid/high 50's and ended up 62-63 mid-day. It was brisk for sure but didn't hurt to put hands or feet into like it does in Feb or Mar. In October/November we don't get on the lake until about 8:30 or 9 though since the air is just too cold and we typically have good water through noon or longer. Now summer is an entirely different timetable.

I need to get down there more next season. Only made it once this year. I did get a good week long session at Powell in mid October to wrap out my season. I woulda boated longer with wet suits but I had to have my thumb operated on after a dirt bike crash. I usually boat at Cherry Creek into Nov but it gets brisk!
