        Thank you for your feedback! We have reviewed the results, and we will be working diligently this year towards meeting the majority’s wishes. If you would like to review the results, please click on the following link;

        We chose not to include the comments to protect the anonymity of the respondents to the survey. Thanks again for participating. We look forward to seeing you all in September.

          Hopefully Everyone had a good holiday season and New Year! Dave and I are getting ready to start sending out letters to potential sponsors and working out some details as we start getting ready for the long push toward the reunion. Thank you to those that participated in the survey, it really helps Dave and I ensure that we are keeping the owners and family at the forefront of this event. As many of you are aware the motel at Temple Bar is booked solid for the event and was filled within about 48 hours after releasing the dates.

          We will be following the results of the survey as a guide as we coordinate this years events. Areas that we had not previously focused a large portion of time on will see some greater attention this year, and vice versa some areas we focused a large portion of our time may not get as much attention this year. The weather through us for a loop last year and created some confusion for everyone (including Dave and I). This year we will be sure to plan for all contingencies better and make everyone aware well in advance.

          I can't speak for everyone but I feel the event dinner last year was a success, thank you to all of you that helped us out with the prep work as we would have been even farther behind schedule without your help. I believe we will continue to do our own food at the event instead of having it catered. Each year Temple bar has thrown some new policy or requirement at us that has never been an issue. 2 years ago it was having a catering business on property without a license to distribute food, last year we where forced to take down any signs or event posters because we didn't have an event license for temple bar. (I will be contacting Temple Bar this year to correct this)

          We look forward to planning the event this year and looking forward to meeting some new owners this year as we are already aware of at least 3 attendees that have never been to the event before. As always Dave and I will be sure to keep the thread updated with information and updates.

            I know a few of you have wondered aloud at previous reunions why we start sending out letters to potential sponsors so early. Well, we were receiving too many "please contact us earlier in the year" responses a few years back. We took action, and once again, it has paid off. We just received our first donation from Obrien! We still send emails and make phone calls to these same companies, but the initial mailers address some of the sponsors that need much more notice. Party on Wayne!

              That is great! Thanks for staying on top of those sponsors.
              Did you make it to the Boat Show?

                Yes, we did. Disappointing to say the least with no local Tige dealer anymore. Still a good time walking around. Word has it another Tige dealer may be in So. California's near future though.

                  Update
                  - Germaine Marine has agreed once again to sponsor the event. We couldn't be happier to have such a solid Tige Dealer supporting us this year.
                  - Over the past few days, we sent out emails to companies who have not already committed to sponsor us this year. So far we are getting great responses. Please watch our Facebook and Instagram pages for updates. When we receive product from the sponsor, we give a shout out to them on social media. Please like those pages to show your support for the sponsors.
                  - As you probably already know, the Hotel is booked solid. What you may not be aware of though; according to Angela at Temple Bar Marina, there are only TWO remaining RV Spots with full hook ups. Call (928) 767-3211 to reserve one. If any of you suddenly need to cancel a room, please let Brad or I know before contacting Temple Bar. This way we can arrange it so another Tige Owner gets your room(s). Thank you.
                  - Lastly, many of you have offered to help us in years past, and we appreciate it. This year, we plan on taking many of you up on the offer. Our first request may seem silly, but we need to put it out there... We will need crock pots for the food this year. We plan on making this as easy on everyone as possible, so instead of a ton of time on the grill, we are going to drop food in the crock pots and enjoy the day on the lake. We will also need drop lights if anyone has them. Those of you who attended last year will appreciate that request...LOL. Please continue to watch this thread as we will continue to provide the occasional updates.
                  Sincerely, Brad & Dave

                      We have a few crock pots and I have a set of small work lights.
                      Was there a generator to power all this last year?

                        No. Thankfully Brad and Dan brought extension cords long enough to run to the hotel rooms.

                          We'll bring at least one crock pot, a couple lights, and extension cords. Great idea on the generator, I will try to remember our Yamaha 2000i.

                            We continue to receive donations from sponsors. We have received 11 packages to date, and we haven't even started making our phone calls yet. With that said, we would really appreciate it if you would show some support for the sponsors by liking our posts on the West Coast Tige Owners Facebook Page and the West Coast Tige Owners Instagram Page.

                            * As a side note, we only post on social media when we have product in hand. Unfortunately, last year we gave a company free advertising who promised us product, and never delivered.

                              Only a few months left before the Reunion (121 days, but who's counting). We are still working on sponsors, but we need to start taking T-Shirt orders now. Here's the breakdown;

                              The t-shirts this year will be the same fabric as the last few years (a climate cool type of material). They will be short sleeve, white, with red lettering and logo. The logo will be very similar to last years, with just minor changes.

                              The logos of the sponsors will once again be on the back. We are selling the following shirts (S,M,L,XL) at $15 per; Adult Men, Adult Women (v-neck), and children's. The children's shirts will not include the logos on the back. We are selling adult larger sizes (2XL, 3XL, and 4XL) at $20 per. Please place your order here (on the TO forum) if you are interested.

                              Thanks, Dave

                                Dave,

                                As always... thanks for being committed to this endeavor as I wish I was positioned to do the same. I would love to sign on and say we will be there but with us having moved to Texas I am not so certain. At the least I will do my best to show (possibly just me) with hopes that I can ride on someone's boat while feeding gas money. I have been the last 5 years and it would kill me not making it a 6th time. I was not able to book a room since I cannot even confirm yet, but I'm hopeful that someone will lend me sleeping space and I will reimburse them. Pretty certain I can do that but just have to network a little. Regardless, I know it will be an awesome trip and my only request is if we can order some Tank tops of that material if feasible... Also, if anybody is looking for a 3rd, count me in. I can drive or spot or whatever you need me for. Until September everyone. Happy surfing!
