Taps 3 retrofit???

Don't get me wrong man I see nothing wrong with giving people what they want, I'm just saying to advertise it as a "comparable surf system to taps 3" and not "we copied taps 3 and will install it on your boat since tige won't sell it" lol

Taps is basically the same as the wakemakers system anyway, so maybe tige doesn't have a patent on it like nautique and Malibu do.

To be honest I've considered making setups as well.
For what wakemakers is charging their profit margin is like 400 percent. And they seem to be selling them.
It's literally 2 lencos, 40 bucks worth of stainless, some hinges and a controller. All for the low low price of 4 grand hahah

The plates are drastically different in function... gsa/taps 3 do way different things orientation wise. Taps 3 has a very calculated bend and tilt as well as a section that extends the running surface.

As to what we are allowed to sell or not sell with tiges consent is really no ones business. We have a product we have made, it works and people are happy. End of discussion really.

You are so grossly incorrect..

Gsa surf plates are insane so much tech and science behind it.. especially in the plates ability to build the wave from the backside.

The controller also does a ton, from dictating a certain amount of power to, auto launch to switching sides. It’s not merely a Lenco switch.

All this can be said about taps 3, lots of tech there. And lots more there in parts then you mention.

If only the world worked that way. I have put companies out of business who thought the same thing, after they knocked off my patented/copyrighted products.
You making a product claiming it to be the same as a product that is likely patented is a very poor idea.

I frankly don't care what you make or don't as it doesn't affect me, I was just trying to give some friendly advice on copyright/trademark/patent infringement and how to avoid calling attention to yourself.
