    Stumped ... any ideas?

On my 2000slm Comp there's a black button on the left side of the drivers seat backrest. It's spring loaded and as far as i can see it does nothing! The seat doesn't swivel, fold or anything else. Any clues?

Is it the release for the seat so you can move it back and forth?

I had a 97 that had the same button on it, I think it added air to the lower back area of the seat. I remember sitting in the seat and pressing the button and it felt like the lower back lost some pressure and became flatter.

It has a seperate handle in front to move back and forth. Nor does it have a pedestal! As far as i can tell it does absolutely nothing! I just wonder if it wasn't put in all seats for an option that wasn't included on my boat?

Possibility, if that's the case then i don't have that option as there's nothing going to the seat.

There wasn't anything going to the seat it was just a manual fill like those backpacking air mattreses you can buy. I could be completely wrong but when I depressed the button it felt like it changed the thickness of the lower back support.

Hmmm ... I'll double check for an air fill valve.

I had the same seat and on mine it was a lumbar support for your back.

Its an ejector button for bad drivers....there has to be someone sitting there and doing power turns down the lane....then you push it and it throws them out.....it's there to keep clean water clean....hahahaha
I have no idea ... it's friday and I want to be on the lake.

It is a an ICBM launch button, you must have somehow gotten the Tige seat designed for the Navy.
