Help! I’m not sot sure what I have. I am attempting to attach a photo of the ID on the tranny on my 2014 RZR. It clearly says ZF 41 IV. I attempted to get an owners manual from ZF North America,and they emailed me one for 45 IV. I called and they said I must be mistaken, a 41 IV doesn’t exist. I’m trying to do my first winterization on it and want to clean the filter and change the fluid. The boat is on the trailer so I leveled the floor of the boat and checked the fluid level. It was brown but full. I Cannot find any sign of a filter to remove or anyway to drain the fluid. I asked the ques5ion on the forum yesterday and the response was to remove with an extractor. I attempted today And got .25 art out of the case closet to the engine. I cannot get a tube any deeper into the case. The other case, I got nearly a art.
The manual clearly shows two bolts holding on the filter that I should be able to find with my fingers. I don’t know which transmission I have. I have seen others refer to a 41 IV on this forum also, so I’m not the only one. Is my procedure for checking the fluid level correct, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
