Wakesurf Edge balance board VS Syck Trix balance board

Has anyone played with both of these? I am trying to decide which one to get my husband for Christmas, bonus for me because I want one too. We have an Endo board but its nothing like surfing. The Wekesruf Edge board seems to be tailored more to surfing while the Syck Trix board seems to be more skate related. I would like to be as close to the surfing feel as possible.

Thanks 18C. I think I have made the choice to go that way. It seems to be more surf like than anything else.

i know it's a little late for the OP's request re: christmas 2017, but adding my .02. I have an indoboard and the wakesurf edge boards. I've also used a syck trix. The syck trix is going to be better for working on ollies, it's defniitely more skateboard focused, deck is smaller. For working on airs where you need some olllie skills it's good. Not going to shuv the thing. It's basically a skateboard deck on top of two small tire innertubes. The Wakesurf Edge is good for practicing spins, shuvs, and balance on all axes... really hard to ollie (i can't do it...yet). The endo board with the roller is different, but also fun, good for balance. I like it for ollies too because it makes you stay really centered and focused on the landing or you're going to bite it. If you have the indoboard version with the inflatable "pod" vs using the roller it's similar to the wakesurf edge, i.e. balance on all axes. All have uses and some level of applicability to wakesurfing, but all slightly different.

I’m bias to the Wakesurf Edge... probably because they were such huge supporters of the West Coast Tige Reunion. I will never buy or recommend an Indo board based on the extremely rude response when we contacted them. A simple “no” or “not at this time” is understandable. The rudeness was unnecessary.

My son received a Wakesurf Edge as a gift form his girlfriend, for Christmas. It's been a good thing to play around with.
Well built and a lot like a real board.
