hom much is too much wind? thinking of hitting the lake this weekend, forcast says 12 mph wind. just came back from 30mph w/ low to mid 70's water temp. was not great. thinking about drysuit. want to be hard core. 36 years old, just learning, and want to wakeboard as often as possible. I guess wind is my biggest concern

Wind sucks.
From a comfort standpoint, I don't much care how the wind is blowing because I will add another 21.75 MPH to that when I am boarding. I mostly worry about the water being smooth. Some places can be smooth because of the surroundings even when wind is blowing.
The drysuit feels like a big parasail when the wind is blowing 30 MPHBe excellent to one another.

You want the 5-10 at Havasu. This is forcasted for this Sunday. Saturday is 10-25 mph winds. Surfing weather. When the forecast is 10-15 mph at Havasu you can ussually find decent water from Just south of Catail Cove to the Refuge bouys Or Just north of Black Meadow Landing.
The above is not guaranteed though but I have had good luck when the wind is blowing hard up at my house and is calm as can be around Cattail CoveLet it be!!!

Wow
Just checked the forecast for Havasu and the temps are dropping. Will only be in the low 80's during the day on Saturday and Sunday. Wind forecast is dropping to. But the weather people have been known to be off. They say the water temp is 81 degrees. Must be down by the dam.
If you are out on the lake sunday mudduk look for a black and white 24V.
Saturday we start our transition from boating to the quads.Let it be!!!
