Boat repair shop recommendations for west Los Angeles?

I have a '99 Tige in need of alternator repair and year maintenance. I'm looking for a new repair shop to go to, preferably somewhat close to the Westchester \ Marina del Rey area of Los Angeles (near LAX). I used to take it to Lakeside up in Castaic but I'd like to find someplace closer as that is quite a trek every time the boat has an issue. I'd prefer an actual shop, not just a traveling mechanic or guy working out of his garage.

    Thanks,
    Mike

I was going to mention Roberto's in Castaic when I saw the title of this thread. Always honest and does nice work. What work do you need done? I have the same year and everything is pretty straight forward as far as doing the maintenance and repair.

I don't know LA area that well but I believe Wakeman22 is a mechanic/ technician that has posted a lot here on the forum and he's repping Long Beach in his location tag. Know that isn't in the whole close to home thing from your description and my knowledge of SoCal but from his posts he knows his stuff. Would be worth the drive if you are looking for quality service IMO.

Look for Weber Marine Services, (he is fellow Tige Owner) does mobile service most of the time and believe he has the same boat.

He is BoatWakes here on the forum, I would look him up.
My life's journey is not ending up looking pretty, its sliding in broadside, used up, worn out, screaming "What a Ride"

As a satisfied Boatwakes customer, I would definitely look his way and get on his calendar now before he gets buried.
