Tige owners birthday gift ideas needed

Hello, Tige Owners forum,

In five weeks time it will be my fathers birthday but not just any birthday, he has finally hit retirement age and this will be the first birthday he has in retirement so we have to make it a special one and that's where I'm hoping you guys can jump in and give me some great ideas. He went a bought a 2013 Tige RZ2 about a year back and it's been his pride and joy since so for his birthday I would love to get him something related top his boat. The problem with that is I'm 25 and know nothing about boats I have already checked sites like this http://www.used.forsale/tige-boats but because I don't know the right keywords to search I'm just getting boats.

What would you guys love on your birthday's from your grandsons? What gift would you boat owners like in general? Is there anything that all Tige owners need to replace often? is there some kind of gadget that would be awesome to have with his Tige? Pretty much anything you guys can think of will be awesome and a LOT better than what I haven't come up with. My budget is around $600 but I could stretch it a little more if it's needed.

Boat care products are always good. If you can get to where boat is stored in sure you could see what he's using for vinyl care, gel coat care etc. Looks like from your picture his anchor game is adequate. Surf shapers are very popular. If he doesn't have one may be worth looking into.
If he's coming up on 2 years he's due for an impeller. You could change it for him and stoke him out, or offer to have it serviced. Would gladly talk you through how to do it if you wanted to do it for him.
Can't tell from your pic for sure but if those are wet sound rev 10s (tower speakers) you could get LED light rings and controller. Pretty cool upgrade with some flash added to the boat.
Underwater lights are cool too. Little more involved installation, and starting to get up there in price depending on light choice and how many.
I'm a big fan of the Wet sounds 420 bt. It allows for quick volume changes during turnarounds instead of poking at rubber buttons or touch screeen. Set volume and just use knobs. Also allows you to split tower speaker volume from in-boats. The mic is cool too, but not the biggest seller of this add on. If tunes aren't a big part of his boating then wouldn't really consider it.
Heater and shower if not equipped as well.
Those are some of the options that people add to their boats quite often when they didnt get them steaight from the factory.I'm sure others will chime in as well.

If you decide on anything that's an upgrade to the boat and want to do it yourself there are lots of guys here to help you through it.

Maybe a beginner to intermediate Wakesurf board, buying a boat like that I'm guessing he has already thought about a low impact sport as Wakesurfing.
The best part is the entire family can all participate and spend quality time together learning and advancing with Wakesurfing.
I know there are some quality wakesurf boards that can be picked up in the $600 range.

Others on the site can give some insight on a good starter board.

I like all of the above sugguestions. Any kind of gear, board, ropes, life jacket, etc.

Tool kit for the boat, small socket set, screw drivers, alan keys, teflon tape, gear clamps, spare belt.
Oil extractor - providing he does his own oil changes.
Cleaning products
Speaker covers - if he trailers?
Tige clothing
I've really been loving the plastic hand clamps and gear ties. They have a ton of uses on the boat.
I have dedicated boat towels for the kids to sit on, wipe the boat down, clean up any kind of spills
Cooler bag/ Can coozy's - Yeti or similar
Visa Card - Gas money
Exile bumper balls - if he ties up to docks or to other boats.
Fresh Air exhaust

One big ticket item would be awesome but I also think a box full of random stuff would be pretty sweet too!

Welcome to the site. Genius idea to come here for pointers.
Not sure if he has one, and it sounds like you won't know either. You might have to look at the back of his boat and take a picture of his exhaust.
I was thinking of a Fresh Air Exhaust. It helps keep the exhaust away from the rider while surfing. It should be about $500 for his boat and there is a group buy going on now for $50 off.

Christmas is coming up, maybe I need to tag my dad so he has some ideas for me

ALL of the above are awesome suggestions, I will X3 on the Fresh Air Exhaust they are in your budget just make sure when you order to have Larry Mann (owner of FAE) to install the "Flappers" they are a must on these boats.

Cleaning products are always a great idea (Boat Bling is the usual brand 90% of us use) with some Aerospace 303 vinyl cleaner/protectant which is another brand we all use.

Boards is where I would go the gift certificate route. Most are pretty picky about brand, style, size, etc. that picking one out at random may not be the best idea.

Heater would be cool, I would just make sure he doesn't have one installed already from the factory.

Tige Banners are always really cool garage art and pretty cheap.

Not sure how big into his stereo system he is, but a WetSounds 420BT is always a cool stereo upgrade. (See Mike Liquid Audio and talk to Mike he can get you setup)

If he is big into surfing or your family is one of the aftermarket surf system would be an awesome family upgrade. There are about 8 brands off the top of my head I can think of. I personally have had good success with Wakesurf Edge and NautiCurl.

If he is big into hanging out behind the boat, a Reef Mat or Aqua Lily are always pretty cool.

Box/Slide Anchor is a MUST if he doesn't have one already, paired with a Danik Hook, and a 50' bungee Anchor Line.

All of the above are within your $600 budget, or may be able to combine a few of these and still be well under budget. Best of Luck!
