    Ballast Pump Blowing Fuse

I have one fill pump that keeps blowing the fuse. I took the cartridge out and it ran so i thought maybe there was something in the line going to the bag but i blew threw it and got it cleared out. I'm not sure if it had something or not. it didn't really seem to hard to blow out if there was something. Put it back together and it filled the bag about 75% then blew the fuse again. Any ideas?

Most likely a bad pump. Just in case though check the wiring at the pump and follow it until it reaches the back seat. Be sure its not chaffed on the engine or or somewhere else causing it to touch another wire.
    Oh Yeah!

Had the same thing happen to me as well this year. Replaced motor cartridge and no problems since.

As the pump ages/starts to wear out/gets built up deposits, it will draw more amperage and cause breakers or fuses to blow. Being that your boat is only 3 years old, I would pull the pumps and make sure the cartridges/impellers look clean.

Had it happen to me this year. Opened up pump turned motor few spins, was slightly seized. Has worked perfectly ever since.
