I'm sure your vx wave was great, I can assure you either boat will be head and shoulders better.

I haven't had time to set my curlview up to give the same view as the wake 9 shot. Just going to have to take my word that's it's as good if not better.

If you send me a text I can shoot you some video of the wave on a 6-4 giant and on both sides. Up to you.

I"ve noticed vx wave shapes up faster then taps 3. the ramp up on a taps 3 is longer. at least z3 to z3 comparison. so hoping its better on a rzx

Was just millin' around on an RZX(3) wave today. Mighty fine! Nice lip for airs. Full everything except stbd rear at 70%. 11.2, extra 500 in surf locker, extra 300 surf side under seat. Crew of 3 only.

          I am a 6'3" 225# meatball.

          Very satisfying!

So that’s a 3 wave? Does look nice.

All of these are at 12mph.

Danny is 6'2 and he is 3/4 up the face of the wave.

Yes--2016 RZX, which is now a 3. It's an excellent wave. We have it dialed via advice from Ragboy the original RZX guru.

I can show you today after we did some more testing weight wise what the boat can do...

Want a clean faced long Z wave on steroids.. drop a little weight and adjust taps 3.

Want a taller wave thats just loaded with power... put some weight back in.......

Whoa, that wave has so much push you can ride it heelside 😅😉

Yep, a lot has changed like you know since the original prototype Rzx. From taps 3 plate changes to the hull. We have them screaming now compared to 16..... Different ball game.

My buddy's RZX has the new plates--and hull changes to the production 3? Never heard about that.

If would be difficult to make a much better wave than the one in these pictures. It's a behemoth. The new '17 RZX3 we demoed this summer (16 was in shop for 3 weeks) was no different functionally that we could denote from his 16. They take a good chunk of extra weight to get dialed, but they are super solid when you get it right.

I may upgrade to the RZX next year, was thinking about pulling trigger now but decided to hold off another year. I have a PCM in my current boat and I love that they are made for 87 octane cause easy to find, I run a ton of ballast and have a killer, waist high wave that I can ride 20ft back on....Course I know I can get that on an RZX too with 5k lbs of ballast/lead. One thing that makes me hesitate, is the Raptor 450 from what I understand needs 91 octane and that is MUCH harder to find in my area, even at marina's (and I trailer my boat and get fuel at 2 stations nearby that sell ethanol free 87. Plus of course the higher cost of fuel jumping to 91.

If you have a killer waist high wave you can ride 20' back then you don't need an upgrade. Or you already have an RZX, SE, or Ri237.

That is as good as it gets!
