considering trade, thoughts?

I have a 2014 RZ4 with 139hrs on it. i've upgraded the ballasts and had the dealer do a tower replacement due to a crack that occurred.
I"m considering a trade for a '17 RZX2........The dealer is offering me a pretty good deal/trade as i bought the RZ4 used from them the spring of '16.
Is the differentce significant? we like the space in the current boat......clear and the surf tabs are certainly nice as well as a bimini that can actually fold up......any thoughts on folks that have an RZX2.....are you happy with it? it's another $40k out the door on top of my boat, just want feedback as to is it worth it? I realize this is a tige forum, but you are getting into barely used Natique ranges.........love to hear if folks love the boat.

If youve got money to burn maybe. I just don't see how it's really that much of an upgrade from a taps 3 24' boat. That rz4 properly ballasted has to have a killer wave and also room for days. I know I wouldn't do it to go to a smaller boat. Just depends on how you use it I guess. That RZX2 is a killer boat no doubt. Sounds like you've got a case of shiny, new boat syndrome my friend

Thats what I wondered....will it feel as big....deeper hull, latest toys.....I'm at that equity point where you either do it or keep what you have

I made the move from a 24ve that had a killer wake to a RZX2 last year. Everything about the RZX2 I love with the exception of not being able to control the stereo when I am surfing; darn kids always change the music to their liking. Seriously the wake is amazing and even if you don't switch on the move, having the boat evenly weighted makes those goofy riders have a go without waiting until the end of the set.

Interesting that there wasn't a design or improvement on the 18s.

Nothing to improve.. aside from adding a factory FAE, and a few other small odds and ends.

Yes a couple locations can me used for a trash. There is an in-floor center hatch I have used that is quite big. In the walk way, a small pull out is also available.

We use a pop up trash can in a rear locker works awesome and yes pull the trigger the RZX2 is hands down a badass boat for sure !

Yeah that small tip out trash location is great for a fire ext. and first aid kit. That floor hatch works great for those 36 packs getting consumed.
