All,
I went for a normal cruize yesterday with my wife. Everything was great, we did hit a large wave that could not be avoided as it was a narrow path. Shortly after, my oil pressure shot up to 120+. My OP indicator on the tige touch came on, and it did seem to run funny......even at idle it was 120+. I killed the boat, looked through the engine bay and nothing appeared off......oil appropriate on the dipstick, etc. I started it back up, and it remained high however coming down into the high 80's as i gave it throttle.........eventually getting back into normal operating range. My question is, could this be an electrical issue? i did have the house battery replaced, but have been out many times since. Any insight is appreciated.
