    Any idea what this is?

Found this under the dash of my 22V, it has 3 wires coming out of it. A red a black and a white. The white one disconnected from wherever it was attached. Any idea what this is?

I think that is the engine code alarm....could be wrong.
My life's journey is not ending up looking pretty, its sliding in broadside, used up, worn out, screaming "What a Ride"

Looks like an acoustic transducer, aka "beeper". The hole in the center is where the sound comes out. The nut allows it to be mounted in a hole, though boat makers usually let it hang free. Three wires means either it has multiple modes (depending upon which wires are powered at the moment) or separate power and control lines so the controlling electronics doesn't have to directly drive the transducer.

Here's a stock photo of a similar product.

Definitely the beeper. When you turn the key on, you'll here a high pitched beep. I used to have one hooked up to my car alarm light so every time it lit up there would be a beep. Thought it was a cool idea in High School but parents made me remove it because it's all they heard at night.

I looked for an found mine as well with the sole purpose of reducing the annoying high pitch that emits from it everytime you turn the key on, one wrap of duct tape over the hole lowers the tone down to reasonable!
