How fast can the boat be trailered down the highway with the Bimini top up? As difficult as it is o remove and install the Bimini, I hate to do it more than I have too.

Trust me...you don't wanna tow on highway. I did that once late at night when I was tired after a session and forgot cause i was rushing. 5mins down the highway, I heard the flapping and knew I screwed up. Luckily...it just tore some threads on a flap and slightly "unrounded" once my my bimini poles where I can adjust how tight it gets. I took it to upholstery shop and had them fix the tear, and then go over entire thing and double stitch. Money well spent....but I learned my lesson. I will not go over 40mph with it up.

I use a piece of line from a ski rope. . I just loop one end then make a noose. Pull it tight and then wrap right to left. Last wrap I just tuck under and it holds well enough to get the cover on. You don't need many wraps. Just 4-5 or so. Enough to hold the bars in place and tame the fabric. Cover zips on EZ after that.
