Well take that back, you could probably get away with 600 and some big dudes but you may need a longer board like a LandLock or an Inland Surfer. I use a LF Skimskate(shorter board) and it takes more work to stay in the pocket.

I heard somewhere else that the swimstep might be problematic for the surf wake because it has corners that go way out and it affects the surf wake. I am going to be in Vegas for a weekend getaway with the wife soon...If she lets me go test drive the RZ2 she is the woman of my dreams. But...would the man of her dreams take her for a Vegas getaway and ask to demo a boat while there? I'll have to think about it.

Well, when I bought my toys, my wife figured they a better alternative Mandy (see below). So she was the woman of my dreams. Unfortunately, I've never really recovered from the crisis and she's since come to her senses so I doubt I'll be able to swing a new RZ2 in the next year or so

However, if you haven't used that line on her yet, you could always tell her that it's a better alternative to Mandy.

It's down there now. Black w/ Red. I guess he didn't listen me. I said all white. Now I'm starting to think Matt's got the right idea. So fly, yo man close the screen door. Fresher than a moist towelette.

I was able to got to Boats Of Nevada this weekend and check out a bunch of 07's.

Matt has a RZ2 that is black and blue with a white deck. It is a very nice boat. Didn't even have the swimstep on it yet. I did not get to test drive, but here are a few impressions:

The vinyl is softer, but not as much as I expected. The white is not the bright white like in previous years. It is still brighter than most manufacturers, but a touch of cream will go a long way in keeping it clean.

The boat had the fancy mesh chair. I still worry how soon the mesh will come apart from the rest of the seat, I give it 2-3 years. I weigh 225 pounds, but at 6'9" my butt is not that big, and this seat hits my but in a wierd way that makes me feel fat. I would like to hear from anyone else who has sat in it, it was uncomfortable.

There is nowhere to attach a tube to...HELLO!!!!!!! I have said this many times...no one with much experience recommends putting it on the tower, the ski pylon is not recommended, and the lifting rings are below the swim platform.

BON did not order it with ballast, but I see a problem in the bow. the vents take air and it passes through flimsy tubes in the front storage compartments and back to the vent hole under the dash and stereo. You will need to make some modification to that if you put a bag in there. The grills on the front look cool, but not very practical. I supposed it could be replaced with PVC pipe. The way it stands now, the air hoses will be crushed easily by an expanding ballast bag.

The dork who changed the drink holders in the 24Ve needs to lose his job. They moved the drink holders that were behind the driver in the corner to exactly behind the driver where you can't really put a drink if the seat is all of the way back. They also moved the speaker out of the corner to behind the driver. So now if you sit on the starboard side rear corner, you have nowhere to put your drink. If you sit on the port side, you have two speakers pointed at the starboard side, one under the dash pointing at the driver, and one immediately behind the driver pointing at the driver. I suspect that the change is because the cooler is now behind the driver and that somehow made it hard to put the speaker and cupholders where they were, but I don't see it.

                  Enough rambling...go to bed!

I had a chance to sit in the VisionAir Seat and I really liked it. It was much more roomy than the standard seat. I am 225 lbs as well but only 6-1. The material they are using I like the idea but only time will tell if it going to last after being exposed to the elements. The back of the seat was much higher and I liked that. Overall I like the seat.

Agree with Coach on the VisionAir. I got mine on Friday and tested it out over the weekend and it feels like it also has some sort of lumbar support on the back of the seat. Overall I really like it, and it looks cool. There is a picture in the Galleries if anyone is curious what we are talking about.

tall, for the ballast in the front. The plastic vent hoses do not interfere when the sacks are full. It does get a little cramped but overall it works. However when the sacks are full, the very front seat (anchor storage area) lifts up a tad.

As far as towing tubes I have done it on my ski pylon but I have only pulled my nieces and nephews and one adult. As of yet I haven't read anywhere on the boat where it recommends not to...I could be wrong.

I have been pulling tubes all Summer long. Usually 2 tubes w/either 1 adult each or 2 kids each. I check the pylon after each trip, have not seen any cracks around the pylon or anywhere in the fiberglass crossmember! YET

I think You could add a tow-ring to the transom of the RZ a lot easier than the Ve (just looking at pictures posted)

Maybe they changed it for the RZ2's, but on my boat there is a big sticker on the pylon that says do not use this pylon as a connection point for tubing.

The pylon only currently has the big sticker that says to not pull more than one skier. The tube sticker is not on there, but my dealer has warned of stress cracks from tubes pulled from there.

The seat looks very euro and modern!
