Im really just not a fan, but like I said, haven't surfed one. Maybe I will have to get real flexible and insert foot in mouth.

It does crush rollers, seat everyone comfortably( 10 adults) and do everything a tow barge should do. It just doesn't shine in any particular category.
Just my .02
It's also bring on a bit of free ballast via shaft seal which doesn't help at all. Hopefully back in the shop this week since it's finally getting listed.

That boat definitely had some strong points. We always stayed dry in it, unlike this 3 we have now. Might have to start supplying rain gear. The shaper worked great for us. We flat out loved how big it was. I think we had as many as 13 in it once and it was still totally comfortable. I don't think this 3 will be bad that way either, just haven't gotten there yet. I found it very easy to load on the trailer and get it to sit right. This 3 is a struggle every time to get it to sit right, and not to mention it sits 500 pounds over the trailers GVWR. This 3 doesn't bring on any free ballast, but it sure doesn't want to empty all that we put in. We loved that boat, as much as we didn't. And at twice the price, we love our 3 as much as we don't. Is there such thing as the perfect boat? No.
