Touch screen issue

I noticed when i plugged my phone into my radio that on the Tige touch screen it doesn't list the song and
as i changed from radio to iPod etc the screen is blank everything else is working even the head unit is playing
the music from my phone any way to correct this? i just replaced the batteries and had a heck of a time getting
them hooked back up,any help is appreciated

You are connecting via the phone's data plug not headphone jack, correct? IS the track data displaying on the head unit display and transom remote display?

Yes it shows up on the head unit just not on the touch screen and I'm plugging
Into the USB port on the head unit
