A friend of mine went to Mead last weekend. Water temp was still low 70's. We may even have some tough guys who will just go in their trunks (no wetsuit) if the weather will hold for us.

I have 2 guys who will be coming down with me, one of whom is notoriously unreliable, and another who thinks the USC football game is more important than this monumental event, so he will have to leave early to get to Cali on time. I will need someone to baby my boat while I take a spin on the RZ2.
      Be excellent to one another.

Take a ride on the RZ2 before I leave and I'll be glad to add a little yellow color to that Ute red on your boat.

            Hey you St. George boys:
I will be down in St George over Thanksgiving. We are bringing motorcycles and ATVs, but just curious, is it usually too cold to go boating on Sand Hollow?

Depends on the weather and the person. If you have a drysuit and the wind is not blowing then it is perfect, especially with the Dixie sun to warm you up a litttle. If the wind is blowing it is a bit chilly, but the drysuit would still make it possible to get in the water. Talltigeguy is a little more particular, something about a 100 degree rule. The water and the air have to add up to 100 degrees. I, personally, prefer the above freezing rule; if the air temperature is above freezing and the water isn't iced over, I'll go out.

Last year we went out on Christmas eve and it was beautiful.

What he said. PM me and we'll see if you can get a pull. Pray for the gross inversion up north and it will be 70 degrees here and dead calm. When you guys are swimming in that soupy air is when it is the best here.
                Be excellent to one another.

You'd better make it a "UTE" red or he wont buy it.

I wish that he were giving the boats away!

My first boat was blue and I bought it just before Christmas. I stored it at a friend's house until Christmas day, so I could then bring it home to surprise the family (including my wife, which was a VERY bad idea, BTW). The family I left it with put BYU stickers all over it and really thought that blue (BYU's color) was cool. I never could live it down that I bought a blue boat, when blue is generally the color of the enemy. I have now softened in my old age, but my blood will always be red (Utah's color).

My wife thinks that the next boat will be some combination of orange.
