I was the one selling the 2001 tige' 21v in cincinnati, do yourself the favour and drive to Texas where boats are cheaper.

4 months ago i drove to Houston and picked up my MOOMBA 23ft XLV with 200hrs for $26K. had all services done to it, and It still looks brand new lol

      Hard to directly compare

Just an FYI, I bought a 2005 22i with 250 hours a year ago for 23K. I would think 33K is a bit high for that year/model. Some basic things I had to do as the boat was older: new steering cable, fix paddlewheel on speedo, new fuel sensor, new shaft seal....all things to consider when looking at a boat with some age on it. I love my boat and it's easy to work on as it's a DD. Again, hard to compare mine to the one you're looking at, but I'd def negotiate the price to under 30 if possible. Also, are banks willing to finance a boat over 10 years old?

Made a deal this past weekend. I'm having my mechanic look at it tomorrow night and water testing it this weekend.

My mechanic mentioned that if it is a Marine Power, there maybe some issues? Is this true? What if anything should I make sure he looks for specific to this boat? It has 6.0 380hp engine.
          Thank you

I thought the Marine Power's were awesome engines. The 2006 model is the only year model I'm aware of that had issues but they can be resolved.
            Oh Yeah!

That is good info. I was told the fuel line might need to be moved to help prevent vapor lock. Not a big deal.

Anything else I should look for in case he isn't familiar with this boat?

Previous owner bought a 2010 trailer with swing away tongue which will come with the boat.

              Thank you

Can anyone tell me where the diacom is located on the 2005 24v with 6.0 380hp

PC connected said it has 483 hours and dash reads only 389 hours. Can someone explain this? Dealer had it listed as 272 hours.

True hours stored in the ECM. The medallion helm gauges are known to reset in some low voltage situations.

It also has a cracked exhaust manifold, alarm under dash has been disconnected, oil leak at some point, and appears engine has been removed due to scuff marks on nuts and bolts.
Should I continue my search or renegotiate contract?
                      Thank you

Agreed. Cracked manifold can lead to performance issues I believe. Do they have records? I'd be curious what engine work they had done. Also, the dealer listed hours are way less than the dial and even further off from the PC....seems like a large discrepancy.

Hooked boat up to diacom. Had a code due to low oil amount.
Can someone tell me if everything else looks good?
It seemed to run fine. Only concern I had is that it pulled to the right when I let go of the wheel. Is this normal? The steering was like butter, super smooth.

Probably doesn't answer your question about the steering, but my 05 22i drives straight without hands on the wheel. The fact that your steering is like butter is good, so not likely a problem with the cable. Did you look at the rudder? Any bends, dents, etc?
