    22V water in bow

Hi, recently purchased 03 22V, when I returned home from our first day out in it I noticed a lot of water in the bow storage area under the seating, in the other boats I have had this would drain in to the bilge area, is this normal on the 22V ?

Did you take a roller over the bow?

Mine does not drain out, and I have to use a shop vac.

I've thought about drilling some drain holes just in case. I've been caught in a storm, had a roller come over once or twice, and I've had my ballast bag leak and leave water standing in there.

        water in bow

I also have an 03 22v. I was having problems with water in the bow, but never took water over the bow. After some looking around, I found that the sealant around my bow hook was bad. Right where you connect it to the trailer. I unbolted it, got some 3m marine sealant rated for below the water line, squirted it through the holes, and put it back together. My bow has been dry ever since

Have someone hose down your bow lights while you check for water inside!
