    Stained Seats - please help

Wife and I bought new towels and stupidly forgot to wash them once or twice before using in the boat.

Long story short, we now have blue stains that don't wash out on our white seats

I tried the vinyl cleaning product I had, but it would not even touch it. Does anyone have a good recommendation?

Let them dry out in the sun and then give them a good wipe down with some vinyl conditioner

I second the total awesome to get it out. Stuff is magical. Just make sure you follow with a conditioner of some kind like 303.

I had this happen with a cheap pair of board shorts a buddy of mine had. They had metal rivets/holes that were painted red and long story short I had tons of little red o rings all over my seats from the rivets on the back pocket of the shorts.

I agree with Mike, sunlight is the best thing. After a few trips on the lake and letting the boat sit on the side of my house without the cover on it the red was bleached out by the sun.

We have had similar experiences including nail polish. each time we cleaned it good and allowed the sun to work its magic.

If all else fails you can use this vinyl paint. Make sure and buy the prep and soap. I had a few stains that were so imbedded that I had to use this. The sea ray white was the closest match for tige vinyl white. I tried all the whites they had. I would do this as last resort, but it works surpsisingly well.

Then try to wash towels with bleach!! It may remove the stain completely and retain its quality!!

I use X14 or even just spray bottle of bleach. I also have white seats, and it works like a charm. Let it set in for about a min and put some elbow grease to it. I had black marks all up and down my engine cover from cooler handles and they came right off.
