    Wakeboard tower cover?

    Hi all,

Does anyone know if anyone makes covers that go over wakeboard towers? I work as a paramedic, and I ran a call last week at a local park, and when we arrived on scene, there was a covered Tige in a driveway next to the park to where we responded, and the boat itself was covered...but there was also a canvas cover over the entire tower too. Obviously I couldn't spend too much time looking at the boat since the way drunk, puking teenager needed my attention, but....are there such items? It would be a nice item to deal with the weather during prolonged storage.

    Thanks!

    Mike

I have seen them somewhere, but cannot recall where. Sorry.

As I was cleaning the bugs off my tower and speakers after my last trip, I was thinking of the same thing. I asked my dealer about it, and they recommended against towing with any tower cover because the buffetting (sp?) would scratch/polish the tower.

I wasn't sure if you were looking at it for towing or storage or both, but I'd thought I'd pass that along. Anyone had any experience with this? I'd like to find some way to reduce the bug factor.

OK...I was able to track down an item called 'Tower Sock', manufactured by HBP Industries in San Jose, California. Looks like it runs between $500 and $600 depending on where you order it. Comes in 3 colors, and I would tend to use it more for storing versus covering a tower while being towed.

                      Here's their link:
